A preowned Borsini Vienna K.9 120 Bass Compact Accordion. This mid size professional quality accordion was built in the Italian town of Castelfidardo by the highly regarded Borsini factory, and features the full range of 120 bass buttons, but in a lighter weight and more compact 37 treble key casework, so is very similar in dimensions to most 96 bass accordions. The instrument is tuned to a four voice musette setup, making it ideal for the French and Scottish styles of playing. This accordion also boasts a double cassotto chamber, which along with it's excellent quality reeds, give it a warm and mellow tone on the eight foot clarinet and sixteen foot bassoon couplers, which is perfect for jazz and classical. This accordion most likely dates from the late 1990's or early 2000's, and has been well looked after by it's previous owner, being presented for sale in good all round general condition for it's age. Finished in a very attractive high gloss black casework.
