The Accordion Shop buys accordions outright from sellers across the United Kingdom. If you have an instrument you no longer play, or you've inherited one that isn't needed, we may well be interested in purchasing it. Send us photographs and a few details for a free valuation - we can often give a rough value before you travel to see us - and if we agree a price, arrangement of courier or collection can be arranged.
Free Accordion Valuation
There's no charge for a valuation and no obligation to sell. The most accurate figure always comes from us seeing and playing the instrument, but for most modern accordions we can give a rough estimate from photographs and a description.

Inherited an Accordion?
A great many of the instruments we're offered come from people clearing a family home. If you've inherited an accordion and have no idea what it is or whether it's worth anything, we're happy to tell you - send us a couple of photographs and we'll give you an rough value, including if the answer is that it isn't worth much.
Accordions from the 1920s and 1930s in particular tend to look far more valuable than they are. They're often beautifully decorated, with mother-of-pearl effect casework and imitation jewels, but enormous numbers were made and very few are economic to restore. It depends on the maker, the size, the tuning, the condition and the era. Some make and models hold there value better than others; pre-war accordions rarely have much value at all. Send us photographs for a free valuation.
