One of the few specialist shops you can reach without a car
By car it is the M3 or the A30 straight in. By train, Sunningdale is on the Waterloo to Reading line, which makes us one of the very few specialist instrument shops in the South East you can genuinely reach without driving — worth knowing if you are bringing an accordion in for valuation or repair.
A long connection with London
After the war the business was run from London by Coe Lovell, son of our founder Handel Lovell, before moving out to Staines in 1969 and then to Sunningdale in 1993. A good number of our London customers have been with the family a very long time.
Buying from London
You are welcome to come out and try anything in stock, and most people find it worth the journey — an accordion has to fit the player. If that is not practical, we deliver free across London and are happy to send extra photographs or a short video of an instrument being played so you can hear the tuning first.
Part exchange and valuations
We take accordions in part exchange and buy them outright. Send photographs and details and we can usually value more modern instruments remotely, then arrange courier collection from anywhere in London.

Not now. The business was run from London after the war by Coe Lovell, but our only showroom today is at Sunningdale in Berkshire.
