Button accordions and melodeons, not just piano accordions

Liverpool's historic Irish community has kept traditional music strongly present in the city, and Irish traditional playing centres on the button accordion and melodeon rather than the piano accordion. We stock all of them. If you are playing sessions, tell us — the instrument you need may be quite different from the one you were expecting to buy.

 

Buying at a distance

Ring us with your budget, the size you are after, what you play and how long you have been playing, and we will give you an honest recommendation, including what to avoid. We can send extra photographs or a short video of an instrument being played so you can hear it before deciding. Delivery to mainland UK addresses is free.

 

Selling or part-exchanging

Send photographs and details for a free valuation. We can usually value more modern instruments remotely, and arrange courier collection from Liverpool once terms are agreed.
