The M4 runs straight from Cardiff to within a few miles of our showroom, so the journey is at least an easy one if you do want to visit. But it is a long day, and a good proportion of our Welsh customers never make the trip — they ring, we talk, and the instrument arrives.
How buying by phone works
Tell us your budget, the size you are after, what you play and how long you have been playing. We will tell you honestly what we would recommend and what we would steer you away from. There is no charge and no obligation. We are happy to send extra photographs or a short video of an instrument being played so you can hear the tuning before deciding.
Folk and traditional playing
Free reed instruments have a long history in Welsh traditional music and dance, and we stock melodeons and concertinas as well as piano and button accordions. If you are playing for dancing, say so — the right instrument for a twmpath is not necessarily the right one for playing at home.
Selling or part-exchanging from South Wales
Send us photographs and details for a free valuation. We can usually value more modern instruments remotely, and if we agree a price we will arrange a courier to collect from you at a suitable time.
