Bath

We hold around 170 accordions in stock at any one time, from 8 bass children's instruments to hand-built 120 bass Italian professionals, and customers travel to us from across the West Country. Bath is a straightforward run: M4 east to junction 13 or thereabouts, then down to the A30 at Sunningdale.

 

Worth the journey

An accordion has to fit the person playing it. Weight, the reach across the treble keyboard, bellows resistance and the character of the tuning are things you can only judge by playing an instrument, and two accordions with identical specifications can feel completely different. Most people find half an hour comparing three or four side by side tells them more than weeks of research.

 

West Country folk and morris

There is a strong folk and traditional music presence across Somerset and the surrounding counties, and a good deal of it runs on free reed instruments. Alongside piano accordions we stock melodeons, concertinas and other folk instruments, and we are happy to talk through what suits the repertoire you actually play.

We deliver free to mainland UK addresses, and a significant proportion of our customers buy without visiting. Ring us and we will talk through what suits you, and we can send extra photographs or a short video of an instrument being played so you can hear the tuning first.
