Hohner Pirola 111 compact 120 bass

Hohner Pirola 111 compact 120 bass accordion. Ideal for the player who needs a 41 key 120 bass instrument but in a smaller body. The piano keys are a little narrower than standard so the size & weight is similar to a 96 bass/ 37 key accordion.

Built in Germany in the late 1950s to mid '60s these accordions have an aluminium body (similar to the best selling Hohner Atlantics of the time) which produces a bright vibrant tone.

Three sets of treble reeds with seven couplers (five changes & two repeats).

Three bass couplers.

This Hohner Pirola 111 compact 120 bass accordion has just had a major overhaul which included bass & treble re-valve, tuning, full treble & bass pallet re-pad, & key felts, so now plays & sounds great.

Finished in cream with gold trim & bellows tape.
