Hohner Morino IV 96 Bass Accordion

Sorry, this accordion has now been sold.

A pre-owned Hohner Morino IV 96 Bass Accordion. This high end accordion was handmade in Germany by the highly regarded Hohner factory, and features 96 bass buttons and 37 treble keys. The Morino is a legendary model in the Scottish folk world, and is mainly set up for this style of playing, although it can also do a great job of playing French, as well as classical and jazz due to the double cassotto chambers on the eight foot clarinet and sixteen foot clarinet reeds. This particular example is a fairly modern instrument, being around ten to fifteen years old, and is in excellent internal condition. However, it has been played professionally by the previous owner, and therefore does have quite a few marks, scrapes and bumps on the bodywork, as well as pitting on some of the treble keys and a few dents on the grill from a life which has up until now been spent on the road touring the world. The instrument has been highly maintained mechanically though, so still plays brilliantly, as can be seen from the attached video (COMING SOON!). Due to the condition of the casework and other cosmetics, this accordion is fantastic value for money, seeing as the RRP of a brand new example today is just under £10,000! Call us today and grab yourself a bargain!
