FR-7X

Roland V FR-1The V-Accordion is the first instrument of its kind to provide powerful digital modelling technology in a traditional, immediately familiar, accordion design, and with performance functions and authentic sounds.  It combines the familiar sounds and nuances of a traditional accordion with the versatility of a modern digital musical instrument.  The FR-7x Piano type is the successor to the current FR-7. It is enhanced with the latest V-Accordion features.

  • Faster response and higher sensitivity and precision, plus detection of bellows opening / closing with new bellows pressure-sensor circuitry

FR1

Roland V FR-1The FR-1 combines the familiar sounds and nuances of a traditional accordion with the versatility of a modern digital musical instrument.  Not only can you simulate up to seven different accordions, but, you can also create your own unique timbres and tuning systems including some amazing organ sounds (using the four organ presets/Harmonic Bar) complete with rotary effect.

You can plug directly into an external sound system or recording device, while the headphone socket is ideal for silent play. You can play for up to five hours on a single charge!The FR-1 is simple to use, fun to play and at just 5.5kg is the most lightweight and portable V-Accordion yet.

FR2

Roland V FR-2 The new Roland FR-2 V-Accordion has the look and feel of a traditional accordion but the heart beating inside gives you all the advantages of digital control. The true tone and characteristics of the best accordions from all over the world have been captured with the proprietary PBM (Physical Behaviour Modeling) technology, and enriched with a wide palette of other instruments, from percussion to bass, organ, strings etc.., to provide wider tonal choice.

FR-3 & FR-3s

Roland V FR-3The FR-3s and FR-3, the junior members of the V-Accordion family, provide all the features of a traditional accordion — and much more. Lightweight and portable, the FR-3s and FR-3 will be appreciated by budding accordion players and experienced entertainers alike for their portability and flexibility.

  • 37-key piano-type treble keyboard/120 bass buttons

FR-5 & FR-7

Roland V FR-5The FR-5 and FR-7 are the first instruments of their type to successfully integrate powerful Physical Behavior Modeling (PBM) technology into a traditional accordion design, combining the familiar sounds and nuances of a traditional accordion with the versatility of a modern digital musical instrument. You can instantly select and switch between a wide range of sounds and/or types of accordions, or customize your own unique timbres.

Because it doesn’t depend on moving parts for sound generation, the V-Accordion is always in tune, and both keyboards can be transposed to play across a wide range of octaves. For sound output, the V-Accordions can plug directly into a sound system, recording device, or plug in a pair of headphones for silent practice. These amazing new instruments must be squeezed to be believed.
